In The Navigator, Buster Keaton portrays Rollo Treadway, a wealthy and pampered young man who suddenly decides to ask his rich neighbour Betsy to marry him. Betsy rejects Rollo’s offer, but the pair wind up alone on a large ship adrift in the Pacific Ocean. Many challenging and funny adventures ensue as the pair must learn to fend for themselves for the first time in their lives.
In 2000, The Navigator was selected by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 funniest American movies ever made. Plan now for a evening of classic film entertainment and great live music.
