Sat May 9: Second Chance

An evening to encounter the love of God

On Saturday, May 9th, starting at 5:30 p.m., young adults are invited to St. John’s York Mills church to be a part of Second Chance. It’s your chance to come as you are and join with others in an opportunity to experience the love of God.

This event is for people to get away from the busyness of the world and just worship God. Our mission is to build up people of power who can effectively seek change in communities with a strong biblical foundation. Faith-based institutions should be relations-based and focus on building communities with Jesus at the center.

The evening will fill you with energy and inspiration. There will be music and worship with KNGDM WRSHP, dance choreographed by Heather Mills, testimony from Dylan Moffat – the musician known as Cosmo, and a talk by Chris Vaandering – the City Campus Pastor of Vantage Toronto.

The evening is for young adults 17 and over, and it’s free including dinner. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. and the evening runs until 9 p.m. It all takes place at St. John’s York Mills church. The evening is put together jointly by St. John’s York Mills church, Evangel Temple, and Global Kingdom Ministries.

Plan now to spend a a few hours not in the busyness of the world, but in a place of energy, of engagement, and of love. Plan to experience the love of God.
