Followed by a Potluck Lunch
Our Morning Praise service, which happens on the last Sunday of each month at 10 a.m., is built around songs and prayers, and around conversations on topics that matter in today’s world. It’s a service that both uplifts and enlightens. The service also includes a relaxed communion for those who wish to receive it. Morning Praise is a simple and easy service that’s great for casual churchgoers, for visitors, and for people who may be seeking a community of faith to join.
This Sunday, Damien Benedict will talk about his recent trip to Jamaica, during which he visited a rural school. Come and see what Damien has learned on his trip, and how he has been inspired by what he saw and by the people he met.
A potluck lunch follows the service. Everyone is invited to bring something for the shared table. Lighter fare, such as finger foods and sweet treats, are most welcome. Coffee, tea, and juice will be provided. Take a little time to satisfy mid-day cravings and to enjoy some conversation with friends old and new.
