Sept 13: Children’s Programs Start

A new year is starting in the Children’s Ministry at St. John’s. Registration is now open for programs for children of ages 3 to 12.

Children’s Ministry classes include stories and lessons from the Bible, music, and art and crafts to make for an engaging morning.

Train children in the right way,
and when old, they will not stray.

What’s Happening this Year in Children’s Ministry

Our Sunday classes are built around lessons drawn from The Jesus Storybook Bible. This text has 44 stories from both Old and New Testament that highlight the love of God and the gift of his son Jesus to us. We spend three weeks with each story. This gives us time to get to know the story, to explore and discuss it, and to do creative art and music based on the theme. Find out more about this book at www.jesusstorybookbible.com.

If you have not registered your child for our Children’s Ministry 2015-2016 program, click here for the registration form. Once you have printed and completed the form, please leave it in the main church office. If you have any questions please contact me. We welcome any child’s family members to visit for a Sunday as a helper. Come and discover what we’re learning!

Blessings,
