Take a good look at a difficult topic
Sin. It’s everybody’s least favourite topic. Some people avoid saying the word; others think that it’s not worth worrying about because they believe that Jesus will save them. Yet, sin this is the very reason we need Christ, the reason we need to be clear on what Christ has done, and the reason we need to know what it means for us.
Gentlemen, please come to an evening of dinner, discovery and discussion in the Garnsworthy Room on December 8 at 6:30 p.m. We’ll be looking at Chapters 5 and 6 of Basic Christianity by John Stott. It is suggested (but not required!) that you read the chapters ahead of time. If you have difficulty finding the a copy of book, please contact Max Dionisio, who can help.
Please send a note to Max at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re planning to attend, so that we can plan the meal.
