Wednesday evenings starting May 31
The Parenting Course returns to Yonge Lawrence Fellowship this Spring.
The book Kids are Worth It by Barbara Coloroso is the inspiration for this course. Barbara is a highly regarded writer and speaker on many aspects of child rearing, including parenting, schools and teaching, and conflict resolution.
In the course we look at the characteristics of families whose children are healthy and resilient and whose homes that are safe and loving places. We then dig into principles and practices that you can use in your own home.
There is ample time for discussion during the sessions. Participants are free to share their own situations and explore ideas with the group in an open and supportive environment. It’s your chance to offer wisdom and to gain insights that you can apply in your own family life.
For information or to register, please call the St. John’s church office at 416-225-6611, or use the contact form on the Yonge Lawrence Fellowship website ylfellowship.com. There is a fee of $25 payable in advance or at the first session.
