The Lychgate Women’s Group welcomes Jacqueline Kennedy to talk about urban bees and beekeeping. Everyone is welcome. Come at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy some coffee and conversation; the presentation gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
In the past ten years, urban beekeeping has been getting a lot of attention as many people living in towns and cities have set up hives. Some of this activity has been in response to news that honeybee populations are declining; some hives are kept by people with a taste for natural honey.
On Thursday, February 8, we welcome guest speaker Jacqueline Kennedy to tell the story of the urban bees. It’s your opportunity to learn and ask questions about this rather unique hobby. The evening is open to all members and friends of St. John’s. If you wish to attend, it is appreciated for planning if you can RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
