Children’s Ministry in the Summer

Sunday mornings at The Open Door

0618 Childrens MinistryThroughout July and August, St. John’s is offering a summer Children’s Ministry program for children during The Open Door service each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. It’s a drop-in format so children can attend as they like throughout the summer.

If you’re Pre-School – Grade Six, come join us at SJYM Children’s Ministry this summer – it’s going to be a blast! We’ll be exploring the wisdom that James has to teach us (James is the writer of one of the shorter books in the Bible), and we will be using the GO! Curriculum (http://www.gocurriculum.com ).

We are also excited to have Patrick Dewell, the Director of Music at SJYM, joining us for a couple of Sundays to teach us some new songs, and you never know – he may even invite us to sing the songs we learn in front of the main church! How exciting would that be!

And also our good friends, Veggie Tales, will be making an appearance, although sadly only on DVD. Our summer at SJYM wouldn’t be the same without them!

To find out more, please talk to any of the greeters on Sunday morning before the service.
