Creating a community of Christ at the edge.
Following a pause for the summer, Contemplative Fire Canada is beginning a new season. Contemplative Fire is a community of faith built on traditions of study and prayer, of thought and reflection, and of fellowship and sharing. This may be what you are looking for in your faith journey – if so you are welcome to join us.
Our experiential worship times, Gatherings, take place on the last Sunday of every month at 4 p.m. at St. Leonard’s church. After each Gathering we have a community potluck meal. St. Leonard’s is at 25 Wanless Avenue (one block northeast the Lawrence subway station). You are welcome to join us – this is a great way to sample the Contemplative Fire tradition.
Our small groups are resuming in September. One might be right for you.
- Open Circle: Contemplative study – women, men, and mixed
- Finding Stillness: Meditation
- Good and Beautiful: Studying the book The Good and Beautiful God by J.B. Smith
