Sat June 14 – Prayer and Talk

St. George on Yonge St. Anglican Church will host a prayer breakfast on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, with a talk on the theme of Discernment.

The Rev. Canon Sister Constance Joanna Gefvert, SSJD, will be speaking on the topic:

Discernment …
Recognizing God’s Guidance and Wisdom
in our Decision Making

Sister Constance Joanna joined the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine in 1984, and took her life vows in 1991. It was her desire to lead a more contemplative life that brought her to SSJD, an Anglican convent for women. During her time there she served in St. John’s Rehab Hospital, as well as becoming an ordained minister. She has guided retreats at the convent, helping those who seek to go deeper into their own spiritual lives.

Everyone is welcome! For tickets please call St. George on Yonge at 416-225-1922 or e-mail them at office@stgeorgestoronto.ca. The church is on Yonge Street half-way between North York Centre and Finch subway stations.
